About Me

I graduated from the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute in 2014.  My clinical internships were at The UB Acupuncture Clinic, Montefiore Hospital in New Rochelle, and School Sisters of Notre Dame in Wilton, CT.  I treated a diversity of clients in each setting.

I served as a licensed registered dental hygienist from 1998-2019.  I enjoy and understand how preventive medicine & lifestyle play a key role in our quality of life.  The body functions as a unified, intelligent organism.  Traditional Chinese Medicine offers an incredibly personalized approach to understanding, diagnosing & treating the body.

On a personal note, I give special thanks to my parents.  My parents flew for TWA and shared a mutual admiration for world history and culture.  I grew up with respect for education, history, and the natural dignity, beauty, and complexity of human beings.  I aspire to continue travel to China to live with family and learn more about Chinese arts, philosophy, cooking, medicine, and culture.  Thank you for your shared interest and curiosity in these natural and ancient ways!

My Philosophy

I believe in respect for nature, and the body's natural abilities to heal.  I believe I am a small but important part of a client's journey.  I believe in sensing and supporting people's highest selves, and in compassion and empathy.  I believe in the natural dignity of human beings, and of the cycles of life itself.

I am grateful to offer my services to those people willing to trust in their body's wisdom, and in the benefits of a supportive community.  I aim to continually improve my knowledge and skills. I learn a lot from each person, each session, and from working with my own body every day.

I enjoy appreciating each person, their body as is, sharing mutual goals for improvement, releasing what is not needed, and building on what is working.  Self-healing is a powerful and yet gentle, steady force.
